My Background
Clare joined the Global Experiences team in January 2023 as the Operations Coordinator. She is the "woman behind the curtain" for the Global Experiences Office, overseeing all things related to billing and scholarships, international insurance, and enrollment processes. Meticulous and extremely organized, Clare is the person who keeps us running and keeps things in check! She endeavors to make the student experience as seamless as possible. Originally from Marysville Kansas, Clare moved to Nebraska for college in 2016. She received an Associates Degree in Agribusiness and Animal Science from the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture, and then went on to the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. Clare graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness and a minor in Leadership and Communication (ALEC). Outside of work, Clare's three pets keep her busy – an Australian shepherd named Zani, and two cats named Lizzie and Portia.
My Study/Work Abroad
Clare was planning to study abroad in Summer 2020 on a UNL Faculty-Led Program to Spain & France that focused on European Culture & Food Production. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic interrupted her plans, as it did for so many students, and she never got the chance to study abroad. Clare is excited to be on the Global Experiences Team to help students fulfill their study abroad dreams and she is always looking for new opportunities to go abroad now.
My Ideal Next Travel Destination
Internationally, Clare has always wanted to go to Greece and Australia. Domestically, she has her eye set on a California wine tour!
